So far, only four sexual species have been described (R. carpaticolaSoó,R. cassubicifoliusW. Koch,R. notabilisHörandl & Gutermann and R. marsicusGuss. & Ten.). With the exception ofR. marsicusand rare autotetraploids ofR. cassubicifolius, sexuality seems to be linked to diploidy. Using flow cytometric ploidy estimation, flow cytometric seed screen and pollen quality, six new diploid sexual species have been revealed in C France, C and SE Slovenia and Croatia:Ranunculus austroslovenicusDunkel,R. calapiusDunkel,R. cebennensisDunkel,R. mediocompositusDunkel,R. peracrisDunkel andR. subcarniolicusDunkel. Here, they are described and depicted in detail. Sexual reproduction has been verified forR. austroslovenicus, R. cebennensis, R. subcarniolicusand also for the previously describedR. envalirensisGrau andR. flabellifoliusHeuff. ex Rchb." [Espèces (in biblio)] Dactylis glomerataMots-clés : diploïdie Résumé : "Two diploid subspecies of Dactylis glomerata L. are recognized to be present in Italy. D. glomerata subsp. aschersoniana is present in mesic mixed broadleaved forests of Friuli (North-eastern Italy); its occurrence in other parts of the territory is questioned. D. glomerata subsp. reichenbachii is an endemic of Pinus sylvestris woods of Alto Adige. Furthermore, diploid individuals have been observed irregularly scattered through Northern Italy. Such individuals are morphologically very variable, and do not deserve a particular taxonomic treatment. Biological and evolutionary relationships within the species are discussed. An analytical key to the italian entities of Dactylis is given."
