Ceci est possible avec des intensités de pâturage modérées, car une utilisation plus intensive des terres a un impact négatif sur la diversité végétale, notamment sur les espèces rares. Cependant, la production fourragère est plus faible dans les sites protégés, car elle est influencée par l'intensité de la fauche et de la fertilisation. Des recherches futures devront approfondir l'étude de l'influence de l'espèce animale ou d'autres pratiques de gestion sur ces relations."
