"Five specific names in the genus Taraxacum are lectotypified: T. besarabicum, T. brevicorniculatum, T. calcareum, T. magnum, T. schischkinii. Two of them, T. besarabicum and T. brevicorniculatum, were previously typified, but their typifications have been revised here. Taraxacum brevicorniculatum, T. ca/careum, T. magnum and T. schischkinii are weeds, originally discovered in the plantations of T. kok-saghyz, an economically important rubberproducing species; their original material has been considered lost until now."
